From Hudičev boršt, head towards the path in the direction of Kališče and Srednji vrh, which crosses the grassy slopes of Zaplata. It soon crosses the forest and leads you to a marked crossroads. Continue in the direction of Cjanovca, Srednji vrh and Mali Grintovec and along a rather steep path towards a small valley, where you follow a gentle path through a sparse forest. Soon you turn right and after a short but steep ascent you head to a hut on Dolga njiva. At the crossroads, go to the less visible path that turns horizontally behind the hut along the valley. The path starts to climb slightly along the valley and when you reach the saddle, you arrive at the next crossroads. Follow the signs on the left towards Mali Grintovec. The path begins to climb moderately over a slope overgrown with dwarf pine. When you arrive at the ridge, continue to the right and after a few steps reach the top.
