11.00 – Medieval experience at Dvor Castle
The programme begins with interactive medieval workshops for visitors:
This is followed by an approximately 30-minute medieval spectacle, featuring medieval dances, flag-waving, fire-breathing and fire-eating, and a display of swordplay using various types of medieval weapons.
A special feature of the performance will be narration in the Gorenjska dialect with an English translation, which will help bring the local cultural identity closer to foreign visitors to the championship.
17.00 – EUROPE ON THE DANCE FLOOR – After Race Party with DJ Faraon
A musical finale to the day, specially designed for the European Championships: DJ Faraon will take visitors on a musical journey across Europe – from Italian, French and Spanish hits to Balkan, German, Scandinavian, British and, of course, Slovenian hits.
The idea is to symbolically bring together the various European countries whose competitors and supporters will be guests in Slovenia over the coming days, and to create a relaxed international get-together after the races have finished.

11.00 – Renaissance performance: MARTIN KRPAN
An approximately 30-minute interpretation of the story of Martin Krpan, set in the Renaissance period and the time of the conflicts with the Turks.
The performance will be staged without spoken dialogue, making it accessible and engaging for international visitors too.
18.00 – FASHION AFTER RACE: Fashion show & DJ
A fashion show featuring sports and lifestyle-oriented brands at the castle venue, combining sport with fashion and contemporary lifestyle.
The fashion show will be followed by a DJ set featuring music for all generations.
We can further enhance the event with the Castle Wheel of Fortune and a prize draw, in which visitors could win products from participating brands and other prizes.

11.00 and 14.00 – Vintage cyclists from the Rovtarji Society
Panoramic ride and presentation by the vintage cyclists of the Rovtarji Society.
On the final day of the championships, we aim to symbolically link the history of cycling with modern top-level European cycling and offer visitors an attractive photographic and tourist experience.
At the Kokl Beekeeping Farm, we offer guided tours of the farm and tastings of all types of honey and bee products. Guided tours are suitable for specialist groups (beekeepers), tourists, hotel guests, business partners, primary school pupils (nature study days) and all other organised groups. We always listen to our visitors’ wishes and tailor the tour and programme to the specific requirements of each group. Tours of our apiary are also suitable for people with reduced mobility.
In 2013, Kokl Beekeeping received a certificate of excellence – Apiturizem – for the implementation of our beekeeping tourism programmes.
Guided tour programme of the apiary:
- Welcoming guests with a glass of ‘honey brandy’.
-Presentation of Kokl Beekeeping and its development.
-Presentation of the Carniolan honey bee and the history of beekeeping.
-Tour of the educational apiary, the beekeeper’s room with its museum, and the glass-fronted display hive.
-A tour of the honey plant garden.
-Visitors will be treated to a tasting of all types of honey and products produced by Kokl Beekeeping in front of the beekeeping room.
