Old freight route Možjanca - Kokra

The first part of the trail is 7 km long and requires about two and a half hours of walking, with a 500 m altitude difference. The starting point is in the village of Možjanca, connected to Preddvor by a concrete road. Before you set off, we recommend refreshments at Okrepčevalnica Rožmarin or stop for a moment and enjoy the view at the church of St. Nikolaj, where there is also a parking lot and the starting point of our route. After a 5-minute walk, we warmly recommend that you take your time and walk to the lookout point, which offers a rare panoramic view of the entire Kokra Valley and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. A pleasant path will take you through the forest to Štefanja gora, from where a view of the village and the Ljubljana Basin opens up at another lookout point above the village. From here, the path begins to climb steeply towards the Davovec saddle, which is connected to Krvavec by mountain bike trails. Our path on the saddle turns left downhill, and caution would be welcome, as the path is also a route for cyclists. A well-marked trail will take you to the village of Kokra, where the first part of the trail ends.

The trail offers quite a few stunning views of the Kokra River Valley and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is marked with directional and information boards.
