Above Bašelj, just below Storžič, at 845 meters above sea level, stands a home with four rooms and two studio apartments. In the immediate vicinity is the church of Sv. Lovrenc, from where you can go to explore the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is only a three-hour walk to Storžič. The lady of the house prepares excellent home-made dishes, and the house specialty are delicious home-made donuts.
Due to the beautiful views this mountain point is called the "Balcony of Gorenjska". It is located on the edge of Hudičev boršt, on the southern slope of Cjanovca. The shelter has a summer garden and a covered terrace, and just below it is a paraglider take-off point. Guests have three rooms with a total of eleven beds available.
The hut stands 961 meters above sea level and has a beautiful view of the Carniolan plain, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and Triglav. In the immediate vicinity are the archeological site and the church of St. Jakob. The hut has 15 beds in a nicely decorated attic. Great starting point for more and less demanding mountain tours.
